A sinuous shaped porcelain basket, ‘Sonic Loop’ embodies musical data of a song within a physical ceramic form. Emerging from an exploration of the how technology can facilitate the translation of ‘sensorial’ experience to the ‘corporeal’ in the design of objects, the work incorporates digital technologies in sensing, prototyping and fabrication.
